Call for papers
The conference will take place at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), Helleveien 30, Bergen, located a short bus ride from the city center. The conference is expected to last for two full days, from Tuesday morning (9:00AM) until Wednesday afternoon (4:30PM).

The conference is open for submissions within any sub-field of development economics. PhD students are encouraged to submit papers and to participate in the conference. This will be an excellent opportunity for economists working on development issues to share their ongoing research with a wide range of colleagues from all Nordic countries as well as participants from other countries.

Practical information
Conference participants are expected to finance travel and accommodation by their own means or by support from their home institutions. Two lunches and one dinner will be provided by the conference organiser. There is no conference fee.

There will be 5 travel scholarships (funded by the Research Council of Norway) for Phd-students and Postdocs from institutions in developing countries. These will cover documented travel costs and accommodation in Bergen up to NOK 13 000. You can apply for the scholarship when you submit your paper, please provide documentation of main affiliation with an institution in a developing country. Gender balance will be secured.
