René Karadakic is a PhD candidate at the Department of Economics at the Norwegian School of Economics and is affiliated to the Center for Experimental Research on Fairness, Inequality and Rationality (FAIR). He joined the Department in August 2018.
René's main interests are found in the areas of health and labour economics, with a particular aptitude for early life interventions and inequalities in later life outcomes. Empirical methods, in combination with administrative data and economic theory, are at the heart of his research.
Before joining NHH René obtained a B.Sc. in Economics and Social Science from the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria and a M.Sc. in Economics from Uppsala University in Sweden.
