Trond M. Døskeland is a Professor at NHH. Døskeland has a Master of Science degree (siviløkonom HAE) from NHH and received his Dr. Oecon. (PhD) degree at NHH in 2007. His research interests include asset management, household finance, behavioral economics, responsible investments and risk management.
He has published in a variety of academic journals, including Journal of Finance, Management Science and Journal of Banking and Finance. He has written the household finance book “Personlig finans”. Døskeland is Director of the Board in the Financial Market Fund and Attending Deputy Director of the Board in The Government Pension Fund – Norway (Folketrygdfondet).
